Just seen the ad on this. Decided to youtube and thought to myself. I wonder if Alex reviewed this. And yeah, you reviewed it. I been kayaking since 2016. Been through a lot of different kayaks. So I love your video/content as its helpful for those looking to get into kayak fishing.

This system is perfect for me. I have a 12’ jonboat. On small lakes/ponds I run only my stern drive trolling motor. On bigger lakes I run an outboard along with it but it’s a lot of weight in the back for a small Jon (especially when just me) so I was going to get a separate bow mount trolling motor (with anchor mode). Now I can use the same motor for both without having to flip the head back and forth (a pain). It will save me thousands. It’s a genius idea!!!

It never hurts to have a back up

I was looking at the Ascend 133x last year when I was looking to up my kayak game. Glad I passed on it (went with a Vibe Sheerwater). There were a ton of bad reviews for the 133x for the things others users have posted here. Anyway, I guess I would (if stuck with the 133x) put the scupper plugs in during travel, and then pull them when done.

I try to tell people to not buy the ascend 133x but no one listens 🤷🏻‍♂️. Every single one I’ve seen at bass pro is damaged and looks like it’s been to hell and back 😂. Maybe this video will finally show people to stay away far away from that POS !!!!

Looks like the seat is too far back. My lifetime Tamarack Pro is alittle like that....but that was only ,$400 out the door at Walmart lol. Not complaining
